I had the same issue on both app store and iTunes. To resolve just sign out of iTunes and app store, go to your purchase and sign back in. Problem solved. Note I had to sign out and in in both iTunes and app store!

Same thing is happening to me. I just downloaded an app about 4 or 5 hours ago with no problems, but I just bought an iTunes card from Target, it was on sale for $12.75 and in not sure if that has anything to do with it? Someone suggested that I reset my settings, and that still didn't work. I tried signing out and signing back in and restarting my phone. Nothing is working. Someone help! Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. Fix this, iTunes!

I'm having the same issue, I log out then back in and it let's me download once and then I get the same error. iTunes need to fix this if hey want me to spend money, this is an absolute joke!!!!!

Yep, bought a card that's onsale from Target. That seems to be the issue. I'm trying to buy books in the Comixology app, and I've gotten two. Purchased one, error started happening, turned it off, back on, got another, but now it seems it won't let me get any more.
