Why cant I see ANY previous purchases under the "purchased" tab?

As of today, this is happening to me, too. When I go to the purchased tab, it just loads blank (when their should be hundreds of apps in there).

I got the same issue on my new ipad too. All my previous purchases were suddenly disappear from the purchased tab.

i see i am not alone on this, just got the new ipad today and it the purchased tab showed up once with limited apps and now won't show again :( also can't get my previously purchased movies...

Same problem here. New iPad. Nothimg shows up in purchased apps or purchased books. Please help.

I should mention that my iPhone 4 can still see all the purchases, including those that I made on the new iPad. So it seems that it is iPad-specific.

I have an iPad 2 with latest updates and just changed my Apple ID from hotmail.com to outlook.com. As I changed the app store to the outlook domain address, I also got a blank on the purchased tab. Ironically, the icons are still there, but not visible. If you tap empty space, you do select a purchased app, because it goes to its listing window in the AppStore. Not sure if this was there before I made the hotmail/outlook Apple ID switch or was a result of action taken. Solutions to get back the purchased list???

The solution is to wait until Apple fix whatever the problem is.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I assumed I'd found a bug related to large numbers of app purchases (I have 771 associated with my account), but I'm going to assume the rest of you aren't as crazy and that it's a more general problem.

Yeah, that's not it. I only have maybe 50. Also my books don't show up and I only have 10.

Actually it seems that the apps are there, just invisible. I don't know if you noticed this, but if you tap on the purchased page, it will take you to the app page of an app you purchased before, and if you tap on a different place, it will take to a different app. Creepy...

This is getting ridiculous now. I can't believe Apple haven't fixed this yet. I've paid for content that I can't load because everything is invisible on the Purchases tab. How long are we supposed to wait without a response.

You can still get to your purchased apps. If you try to repurchase them, the button says download, not buy.

I have an iPad 2 and am having the same problem. I discovered the eerie ability to tap on the blank screen and have an individual app appear. I can't update current apps nor download new apps either. The only way I am able to do anything is if I am hooked up to my laptop. I have tried restoring, resetting, looking at my sign in information to make sure everything is the same, etc. To no avail. I haven't called apple tech yet as it appears now I'm not the only one and this seems to be an iPad specific problem. If anyone hears anything or figures it out I'm sure we will all consider you our Hero for sharing!!!!

One more observation and question: I can't remember if this was the case; when I go to settings and click on iCloud it lists everything except the apps. Didn't they used to be listed on there also? I'm wondering if its the Cloud causing some of the problems. If I don't get this resolved soon I think I'm going to delete my iPad from the Cloud and see if that changes anything.
