If I ever created a reminder, it was visible in iCal. Now, if I set a reminder on a certain day, it is NOT visible in ical. I think it's dumb having to use 2 aps to organize my week, not being able to just see everything under the same window. Is there a way to have reminders visible in ical  if they're set to a specific time of a specific day?

Reminders and Calendar are separate applications now.  Reminders go in Reminders, and calendar events go in Calendar.

You cannot see reminders in Calendar, or vice versa, any more.

Ah, thank you. There's virtually no reason to use reminders anymore now.

Reminders are very handy if you have an iPhone with Siri.  It's super easy to get things you need to remember in there by just dictating them.

Yes, but since it doesn't sync with iCal, I now have two items to check and see "wait what else must be done today", open remindres, then open iCal, instead of just one application.

I much preferred to have a Reminders panel as it was set up in ical than the way Reminders is set up as a separate, unlinked app now.  This is a major inconvenience and I hope Apple corrects it.

Totally agree. Was great when I put a reminder on my iPhone it was sitting next in the window in ical and you could drag it over to a date if you wanted it. If anywhere I would expect reminders in the hyped notification centre. I even swiped in the window to see if the popped up. Hey that would have been smart ;-) 2 Apps ical and reminders doesn't sound like integration to me.

I have gone mad trying to see what was wrong with my reminders in iCal. Personally I love the Reminders APP, I use my iPhone a lot, BUT I also plan my week every friday, and today I started to notice, first friday after my mountain lion upgrade, that I could not see reminders on iCal.

Now that is a mayor SETBACK, before I had one screen to identify what my week schedule was going to be like, NOW I have to feed two apps and also check both of them.

hmmm. Don`t think that was a good idea.

Hope Apple adds a feature that allows an optional integration.

I concur it's bad workflow to have two apps. I just noticed that reminders ARE in iCloud Calendar. If they can integrate there, why not on the full Mac Calendar? Super annoying....

I wish reminders was at least available to integrate with iCal still.

I completely agree... this is bogus

agreed, not all of use want to use siri...makes no sense to change something that has been around for so long.

Just want to get on the record that I completely agree with the posts here that wish Reminders was integrated with iCal.

    Please fix this, Apple!

What I find even worse is,

    1. that entries in different calenders in "Reminders" can no longer be sorted according to date, i.e. having a mixed List of entries in different calenders, sorted by date: Annoying to check one calender after another ....

    2. when assigning an entry to a date, a "Reminder (sound, email or whatever nuissance"  is automatically set: Why not - as before: a) assigning a date and b) HAVING the option to set (or NOT to set) an Alarm.

If I missed a chance of "fixing" the above: I am more than happy for help.

By the way: Disintegrating a smart combo without the option to join was stupid.

After following a similar thread (http://forum.macsofa.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=63719):

    Just bought Fantastical from http://flexibits.com

    - shows "all" at a time

    - sorts acc. to date (mixed entries)

    - super-easy  typing

    - transfers all to calender / reminders: even the "due-dates", that are no longer available in reminders

Why cursing Apple: Jobbuilder Apple: the flexibits-people earned 8 € - seems to be reduced at present - instead of 40€ for busycal.
