Safari 6 ML doesn't load pages ONLY WITH A TRICK. WHY?

Every time I OPEN Safari, pages DON'T LOAD.

I click then on the "stop loading" sign in the progres bar, and get the following message:

The webpage is not responding, so loading cannot be stopped. Do you want to force reload this page?

I then click on FORCE RELOAD and the page loads normally.

Why do I need to go through that every time?

NO OTHER BROWSER DOES IT!

Any suggestion on how to tweak all that?

THEN, in spite of NOT clicking on reload pages after restart, Safari ALWAYS DOES!

Then, besides slowness, just at restart this lousy system eats-up 2 giga of RAM more than SL!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion, I regret A LOT having left 10.6.8

For the reload issue...

Quit Safari.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type this exactly as you see it here:

~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db

Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

Relaunch Safari to test.

Back to the Safari menu bar, click Safari > Reset Safari

Select: Clear history, Remove all website data, Clear the Downloads list, Close all Safari windows.

Restart your Mac, launch Safari. Check RAM usage in Activity Monitor.

Thank you for trying to help.

I really apprceiate.

Unfortunately, I had already done all that several times (I re-did it also after your suggestion) and WITHOUT ANY RESULT. Safari STILL doesn't load the page when I open it unless I do the force reload thing.

As far as memory, Safari is EATING an average of 38% of memory as per activity monitor.

With the IDIOTIC choice not to allow apple.com dowloand of asafari to try at least to re-install it from scratch, I can't even do that.

WHY IS IT THAT APPLE IS TRYING MORE AND MORE TO DO THINGS THE WINDOZ WAY, THAT IS USER-UPSETTING???

Unfortuately, it was an aleatory solution...

Safari started again hanging at start-up... After waiting for over ONE MINUTE for the page to load, I again clicked on stop loading and then reload and then force reload, ALL OVER AGAIN.

THIS SAFARI ***** FEET MUSHROOMS!!!!

No RSS support, slow like ****, pages don't load, EATS RAM LIKE A PIG...

A real "joy"!

I found the solution, this time the real solution.

The problem was apparently 1Password.

After uninstalling that extension Safari started working like Firefox.

However, given that Firefox works also with the 1Password extension, has RSS live bookmarks incorprated, it is just as fast and has also privacy add-ons that Safari has not, MY SOLUTION IS USING FIREFOX (after using Safari since it was created I don't do that lightheartedly, but if Apple is producing things that are less and less user-friendly and more and more loaded with problems, there's no choice.

Sorry!
