Lost hard drive space

I used Bootcamp to install windows on my iMac. Afterwards i decided that i did not want Windows on my iMac. So i deleted the files and the partition. But when the HD went back to just the singular HD i was then unable to get back the space that i used for the partition. So now i have a 500gb HD with around 95gb which i cannot use. (the missing HD space is in blue) Has anyone else had this problem after deleting their partition or know how i can solve it?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

That 95GB would be your 10.6.8 Mac OS installation with 405GB available.

If you click on your HD icon and Get info does it reconfirm used is approx 95GB.

If so that's OK.

Sorry, my mistake. I have 70 GB Missing. It says that the capacity of my drive is 429GB instead of 500GB. It then says that i have 344.62 GB available, with 84.39GB used.
