Calendar Exchange Sync

Mac Pro 2008, Mountain Lion, deleted one appointment in a series in calendar on my home computer. Appointment disappeared in Calendar on home computer. Several hours later checked my computer at work and my iPhone and appointment still there. The two computers and the iPhone all sync with Exchange Server 2010 at work. Anyone have any ideas? I deleted the same appointment on my work computer and it synced immediately with my iPhone.
