icloud diary not sync'd on iphone

I have successfully used iCloud to share Calendar (4 including a Google Calendar) for some time, but one of my calendars is being ignored by both the iPhone and the iPad.

I have deleted the calendars on both devices and re-started using iCloud Calendars, but now none of the events (which i can see on iCloud) is now being sync'd on the devices.

I am on OSX 10.7.4

Any help?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 5.1.1, Also iPhone4S 5.1.1

I have shifted the "missing" events to another calendar and they show up, but assigning them back to a shared calendar and they don't appear on the iPhone or iPad (but do on the Mac and iCloud).

Have tried just unselecting the errant calendar, but no joy.
