Quality of iDVD discs from iFrame video. Is quality good?

If I import iFrame video into iMovie and then use iDVD to create a DVD, will the video quality be commercial quality? In the past, I used miniDV and iMovie 5/iDVD to create professional quality DVD's. Can I expect the same quality (or better) from iFrame video edited in iMovie followed by DVD creation using iDVD?

If not, other recommendations, please. I want to create DVD's, not Blue Ray.

Thanks for the response, but I really need more info. I realize that the iFrame format has greater resolution than Std Definition and DVD. However, early iMovie versions after iMovie 6 created lousy DVD's when using iDVD, even though the source video was HD. So, what I really want to know (from somebody who has made many DVD's from iFrame source and iDVD), is this: do the DVD's appear to be commercial quality...equal to those made from DV content from iMovie 6/iDVD? Again, thanks for your help.
