Q: Cannot mount AFP from OS X Server 2.0

I don't get a chance to enter username and password.

"telnet steve.local 548" from an other Mac times out. On steve itself I can connect.

But the firewall is disabled (sudo pfctl -d).

ping steve is okay.

steve:~ thomas$ sudo sso_util configure -r steve.local -a diradmin afp

Password:

/Local/Default

Invalid Realm Name

So, what is my REALM_NAME?

The firewall of my WiFI router is off.

But how can I change the authentication method?

Server.app and Server Admin.app have been merged in ML.

Now I've testd all available clients. None of them can access fiel sharing on the server:

• 10.6.8
• 10.7.4
• 10.8

Therefore I assume that it isn't an authorization problem.

If I do "telnet steve.local 548" on the server itself, I get a connection. So the server must be running.

The firewall has been disabled by "sudo pfctl -d".

The 10.6.8 client can even do screen sharing. So there must be an IP route.

I'm still clueless now.
