Q: OS X 10.8 breaks support for, Canon EOS 1D-X RAW files!!!

THIS IS HUGE WARNING FOR ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS!

Mountain Lion 10.8 breaks support for Canon EOS 1D-X RAW Files! Even those files should be supported ever since Canera Compatibility 3.14 was released long time ago!

HUGE complication for me! Cannot use Aperture and my workflow is A LOT slower!

Apple this must be fixed ASAP!!!!

I do know all that. I have five Mac here.

    - early 2008 MacBook Pro - 10.8 (clean install)

    - late 2009 iMac 27" - 10.8

    - mid 2010 MacBook Pro 13" - 10.8 (clean install)

    - early 2011 iMac 27" - 10.8

    - mid 2006 MacBook 13" - 10.7 -> opening those very same files with no problem at all!!

All thos Macs running ML simply cannot open any EOS 1D-X RAW. This is just a nasty 10.8 bug!  file.

I think Apple has a number of bugs with file format compatability.  I'm having issues with random jpg files not displaying in Aperture, finder, preview or Safari.  They will show in Firefox or Chrome and on a 10.7 macpro.  I have an early 2011 iMac and tested after a clean install with no custom software installed.  I would be interested in hearing if it's more then just an Aperture issue for you.
