How to disable Mountain Lion Server?

What I figured out was to:

1) turn off all services in server.app

2) remove server.app from your computer (( actually delted it and that forced th eOS to turn everything off)

3) remove /library/server folder, this gets rid of most settings, not all. Only do this if you want to start from scratch later.

Server.app has install/uninstall scripts built into it. If you drag it from the Applications folder to the Trash, it will remove everything that was installed (except the /Library/Server folder.)

Seems straightforward enough. But my Server app keeps reappearing after I log out / in. I turned off all services, deleted Library/Server, then deleted the app. But the app keeps reappearing.

Help!

Replying to my own query (in case someone runs into it!). After several attempts, I deleted the Server app in the Applications folder. That worked. This is clearly not intuitive (like Apple is known for, very well), it also seems to be a flaw that when you delete something in the Launchpad in the normal way, it should not reappear, esp. without giving any reason for it to the end user - this isn't Windows!

sudo rm /var/db/.ServerSetupDone

I manually removed all of those files after removing the Mountain Lion Server just rebooting to see what damage is done fingers crossed none

After removing all the files, and removing the app it seemed to work just fine no remains left. - so that works okay
