iMovie quits unexpectedly

Whenever I try yo finialize or export my 11 minute video from iMovie (9.0.7) it gets almost halfway processing then iMovie quits and I recieve the error message iMovie quit unexpectedly (I can attach the details of the error if you want but its pretty long). Been trying to solve this problem for the past day and cant, it's getting really frustrading!
