Audio Interface 'Device Not Found' after clean install

Hello

I have been using the Tascam m16-uf for a few years and it's been great. I've it working on my laptop, which I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion. I recently formatted my laptop and did a clean install of OSX Lion, now my Tascam mixer is not connecting to my laptop. I've opened up the Tascam M16-UF control panel and it quotes as "Device Not Found'. I tried uninstalling the druvers and re-installing and still no luck. The mixer seems to still work with my PPC G5 mac, but not my laptop, however what is puzzling me is that it was working before, the clean install, but now it's not.

Can you please help?

My laptop specs are

Mac Book

2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

4 GB RAM

OS X 10.7.4

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Intel Core 2 Duo
