this is the message I get when I open FCP X

/Volumes/FreeAgent GoFlex Drive/Final Cut Events/ECONOMIC IMPACT copy is already open with the same identifier as /Volumes/VERBATIM HD/Final Cut Events/ECONOMIC IMPACT copy, so the second document cannot be opened.

Move one of these documents out of your Final Cut Events folder. To avoid this problem, copy events from within Final Cut Pro.
