My printer sharing is not working,I get this error "job stopped on server"

I recently turned on printer sharing on my mac mini that my printer is connected to. I am trying to prince from my mac pro. It shows the printer as an option to print and I have set it as the default printer. It can find the printer and starts to print however as it is spooling it gives me an error message of "job stopped on server"? I'm not sure what the issue is, I am printing to an HP Officejet Pro L7600.

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion

The way 'Sharing" is used, it means the act of making the printer vailable for all to use. There is no special term for just using it once it is "Shared".

If not that, It could be one of two possibilities:

1) take the message at face value. Log on to the Mac that holds the printer, and make sure the printer is not "stopped". If it is, tell it to "resume".

2) something else is going on. This is most often caused by confusion over Printer setup. Things like the wrong protocol (access method) or a stale driver. Your printer manual should have Mac setup information to guide you.

Printer drivers change so fast that the one that shipped in the box will be stale by the time you open the box. Check the manufacturer's Web site for the current ones, or run Software Update to get new ones from Apple if needed.
