Connecting iPad to wi-fi after disconnecting wi-fi from TVs

After connecting(and then disconnecting) my TV's to the internet using the WPS button on my wireless router, I am unable to connect my iPad using the same router. I have shut off and reset the router, to no avail. I know that Apple doesn't support WPS, but I vaguely remember Apple telling me to shut off router the last time this happened. Unfortunately, I am getting on in years and can't remember what else they said to fix my problem. Any suggestions?

Reset modem/router (disconnect from power for some minutes)

On you iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.

Then keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your iPad screen.

Then connect power back to the modem/router.

Wait a few minutes and the connect again the iPad with your WiFi; Settings > Wi-Fi, tap on your connection.

Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398

Additional things to try.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
