I go to share menu to convert to quicktime and the menu is grayed out. Don't know what to do.

Working in Final Cut Pro X, I have a 17 minute clip. It has two video paths and two audio (narration and music) I also have some titles. Anyway I go to the share menu to make it compatible to use in a dvd and the Share menu is completely grayed out and cannot be used. This is the first time this has happen to me so I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
