What does "mzcommerce.credit balance mismatch.mobile_message" mean?

I redeemed a iTunes gift card but when I try to purchase music, I get a pop up box witht his message. What's up?

I got it, thanks in part to Glorfindleor! I went into my Apple ID payment options and where I have a default credit card on file, I selected "none" instead of my mastercard. Then my gift card balance kicked in and I downloaded just fine. It seems the account gets confused when there are more than one payment options. So I guess having too much ability to pay is as much a problem as having none. If you're getting that message when you have both a gift card and a default credit card, try unselecting your default credit card, hope that helps. God bless & happy tunes!
