When my photos consumed half of my hard drive, I knew it was time to move them to an external drive. I did a Time Machine backup of the whole system, copied my iPhoto Library to an external drive, changed my default iPhoto Library to the new one on the drive (everything works fine), and deleted the original. However, when I looked at my Mac's hard drive's storage (About this Mac>More information>Storage), no space was freed up, and my "Backups" bar was the exact same size as my iPhoto Library. Coincidence? I think not. Where is this backup stored, and how can I delete it?
