My purchased apps are not showing up on my iPad. What is the problem?

The purchased app (on the iPad ) is showing a blank screen. Any ideas?

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Try deleting the problematic app and then re-downloading the app from the app store.

You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

You can re-download content purchased from the app store using the purchased option which is revealed by tapping the updates option at the bottom of the screen of the App store app on your iOS device.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

"Windston" Is TOTALLY use Less. I too cannot see my Purchase history on My IPad 2. My iphone 4S see's it fine. Winstons "Try deleting the problematic app and then re-downloading the app from the app store" is stupid since it's not an app it's the apple store history so you can't remove itunes and reinstall.

I noticed it after looking to redownload an app i had only just downloaded on the iPhone.

***Any better idea's

So this is your first time on the internet.. I am saying i too am having the same problem not hijacking his thread. You believe i should create a new post with the same thing over and over. Every one with the same problem post to a common thread that they too are having the problem.

Saying reinstall an app is useless info and show's you either did not read what he asked or have a some prewritten script you post to all the forums.

I am saying when i went to purchased history it's blank. Not hijacking his thread am saying "me too". Also did you notice the purchased history also is missing from the itunes app store. So somethings up Winston.

But it still shows fine on iPhone.

Does it look like it.

But you don't and you are.

I'd say it was you that wasn't reading the post, the poster said the purchased app shows a blank screen, you are saying "when i went to purchased history it's blank"

Also did you notice the purchased history also is missing from the itunes app store

No I didn't because it isn't for me, however I have seen others with this problem, which I respond to accordingly when I see such posts, the OP isn't (or hasn't so far) said this was their problem here, so this thread isn't the place to comment on such matters.

As some of us may be new to the community and only signed up because of this problem, I think we may have a grasp on what to try prior to posting here.

I too am having challenges with the purchased page being blank but if you tap anywhere on it a page shows up with whichever app you happened to hit by chance. Also in the genius page if you tap not interested (lately) and refresh all the same suggestions show up.

Have tried all your suggestions prior to coming here thanks, the only thing I can think of is this starting happening after I downloaded a new version of iTunes and synced. Not sure if it's the app store or iTunes or what it is, but it's kind of funky!

Hope someone finds the issue without blazing everyone else in here and gives out good information on how to resolve the issue or if it's Apples issue and will be resolved soon.

The funny thing is that the problem seems only to "exist" within this forum. I googled for the problem elsewhere and with one or two exceptions the outside world does not seem to be aware of this problem.

So apple can afford to stay silent ...

I would expect them to at least confirm the problem, which as far as I can see, they have not done. This was my first Apple product ever, but if this is the way they communicate with customers, I'll back out again.

Further to other posts I too have the same problem, blank sceen where purchased history should be, when screen is touched opens an app. Total guesswork which app will open as its a white screen white screen. This week my Pages and another app were stuck during routine update and refused to download or open. Other apps did update but not those two. Not sure of its all part of same issue or was a different issue altogether.

My purchased apps are not showing up on my iPad. What is the problem?
