Ive upgraded to Mountain Lion today, and now eveytime I launch Photoshop and/or Colorsync utility, my screen turns bluish, and back to normal when I quit the apps.
More precisely, I'm using factory settings, and when I launch Colorsync utility, nothing changes until I click on "profiles", then it changes to a bluish display, and I can change any setting, the screen stays blue...
I've never experienced such behavior before...
Any clue?
It's so weird: I have the same issue with "Transmit", which is not a graphic app, but a FTP client.
When I launch this app, bluish again. I quit: back to normal...
I tried to capture the change, but the picture taken is perfectly normal!
I have the same issue since Mountain Lion upgrade. Screen turns blueish when I launch iDVD, iPhoto, ColorSync->Profiles and also when I view some flash based video content in Safari. Looking for a fix myself.
I've made a clean install.
But I've read something about file permissions, you should try this:
You should first use disk utility, select your hard drive and repair disk permission.
I've got the exact same problem.
the problem is for macbook pro 2010 with ssd installed.
mountain lion cannot load the discrete graphic driver well and it mistakes when it switch using some programs (like chrome, ps, Transmission and so on)
by now u can just logout and login after every restart to fix this.
i hope they'll fix it forever in the next update.
