does aggregate audio in 10.8 not change the soundcard order?

10.6.8 would rearrange the order of sound devices in your aggregate setup as you clicked them when first forming the device. Everything is fixed in 10.8, which is far less flexible, or compatible.

yes, this is a big deal.

in Logic, you cannot change the stereo out, but in aggregate device, you can no longer properly order your interfaces so that the stereo out in Logic will in fact be what you use as a stereo out. This is new in Mountain Lion and is a big problem.

Also, device aggregation at 96 is having some issues, but device aggregation at 44.1 is working. so there is more that I am fighting with now that I am uncovering issues in Mountain Lion. Please oh please get this fixed. I'm totally hosed for doing work in Logic right now.
