iPod Touch 4G 8GB does not play music or videos in youtube

Hello,

I just got a brand new ipod from the store and from the start it was not functioning great - freezing, shutting down, etc.

I restored it several times and all seems working fine now but for the main function - playing the music.

The sound is not coming out either through the speaker or headphones and the "pause" button turns to "play" button in 3-5 seconds.

I can play all songs fine through iTunes on my laptop.

The same with the videos using youtube app - videos dont play (not just sound) and the pause button changes to play in seconds.

I have done all reset option and would like to try something else and see if anyone has smiliar problems before i go back to the store.
