You can stop automatic downloads on your device via Settings > Store : automatic downloads. If you mean that you want to stop the actual purchase, then all purchases are considered final (whether you actually download them or not), but you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a refund or credit : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store
