Hello, I don't have much music, so I don't mind a 'gruelling' way.
(I know sync is probably the easiest option, but I don't have iTunes and can't have it yet; as I can't find sollution to my situation (that I talk about in other questions I've submitted)).
I have some music and films on my computer and usb (they are not 'connected' to the iPad).

I opened the link. I'm not sure what i need to do: Do i download that on my ipad, and then using that ipad I will be able to get my music off an actual computer and usb onto the ipad?

You have to download Copy Trans Suite Controle center. The manager is free.
You use Wi-Fi only to transfer music.
Type the address in your computer browser and you will be able to access the songs in your computer and copy it over to your iPad.

Do you have iTunes on your computer? You need to put your music from usb, using computer, onto itunes. It is not very hard. But before we take time to write 123 steps, can you tell if you want to do it that way?
And what Diavonex wrote, is other way. I think you need to download that app on your ipad, and then follow the instructions to access the music on your computer (usb) and it will be transferred onto iPad.
(that is the way I understood it.)
But the first method I think is used by majority. So, if you have no reason why you can't, I think you should do the first option. (try to search for videos on YouTube)
(I really know how it feels to be new in this "i" world... 😉 but people don't understand.... to answer your questions they just send you a link with an Apple's manual (that already came in the box with an iPad itself!! 😁))

MediaMonkey (Free) allows copy to ipad, ipod, anything. NO Itunes required.
