How can I use my iphone to call my laptop?

I am out and about conducting business around town.

My partner is back at the apartment using my laptop.

Is there anyway I can call them while they are on the computer and is there

a way for them to call me on my iphone.

I am aware of Google number for my iphone.

However, I want to be able to phone my laptop.

Basically, making my laptop a phone.

Can this be done and if so, how?

You can use Google voice on a computer, same for Skype or similar. Those are your choices.
