since two weeks ago , I can not get my emails on mail app in ipad , yesterday I changed my email pass , and whan I want change the pass in mail app , I get this error:
the imap.gmail.com server in not responding , check incoming mail server...
what can I do for this problem?

If changing the settings in the account not work then delete the mail account and setup again;

Be sure the password is the right one!
@HereisTom is right. I changed my password in several of my mail apps, and I had to delete a hotmail account, then set it up again. Only then could I send an email from that account.
