Q: Make User Library Visible in Mountain Lion

I would like to make my User Library folder permanently visible since it has much useful information that I consult. Many sources have recommended you insert chflags nohidden ~/Library/ into a Terminal window to make this change. I was able to do this successfull in Lion.

However, in Mountain Lion, Terminal responds with Permission Denied when I do this. Does anyone know what I need to do to make the command work?

what if it wont let you type your password in the termnal after useing sudo?

Tuttle solved it for you - was it too simple?
With Finder window open, as usual hold down the Option key and press Go and Library will appear between Home and Computer.
Click on Library and it will open and you can release the option key.
Right at the top - no the VERY top of the Finder window between the various View Action Arrange and maybe Share buttons on the left and the Search box on the right is the illustration of a folder with the word Library beside it.
Drag THAT folder to the favorites bar to the left of the Finder window and position it where it suits you and it will stay there

Sorted, and not a SUDO in sight
