Boot camp does not boot to Windows 7 disk after completing disk partition - white blank screen

After completing the partitionning of the hard disk, the iMac reboots but nothing happens. The system does not boot from the Windows 7 disk.

A blank screen appears and that's all.

I have tried to manually boot from the disk by pressing the <Alt> kei will restarting the iMac. The system display the option of booting from the iMac hard disk or the Windows 7 disk. Seelcting the Windows 7 option does noting.

Thanks in helping me find a solution to my boot problem.

What format is the Windows disk, did you download it as an .iso or is it a retail disk?

If you downloaded the iso then it may not have been formatted right to make it a bootable disk. If using Disk Utility to burn the iso to a disk you have to burn it at 2x speed as there is an issue with it burning at faster speeds.
