Q: Unresponsive screen

What do I do for an unresponsive screen?  I have done all that is required at ipad troubleshooting site.

    Perform a hardrest by Holding down the power button (top right edge) and the home button until you get a black screen with just the apple. IGNORE anything else like slide to unlock. Do this for at least a minute or 2 or until you get the apple.

     

    If this does not work, connect your device into the wall adapter to charge and try again until you get the charging iCon.

     

    If this still does not work... connect your device to your computer, open the iTunes program, same 2 buttons and this time you should get the usb to connect to itunes graphic on your device. iTunes should pop up a window that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode and you will have to restore the device.

     

    If you have to do the last resort of restoring that means you have encountered a critical software issue and have no choice.

     

    If still not working then all thats left is for a repair.
