More specifically, what feature are you concerned about using in the UK? Are you talking about 3G? Or just the iPad in general? Charging?
as long as there is a carrier in the UK the runs a gsm network. All iPads sold in canada are unlocked

I have the same issue - my iPad 3 bought in Canada when I lived there and then I moved back to uk. IPad itself works but I'm in a tangle over apps, iTunes etc. For example, I paid $80 for access to BBC I player in Canada and now it won't work, but neither will it let me download Uk version. Anyone have any ideas about what to do. Set up new uk iTunes account?
