How to get a data plan on my iPad,I no longer have at t service,I have infinity.

    Isn't xfinity a home broadband provider? Or do you have cell phone data service with xfinity?

    Xfinity is a cable provider that offers Internet and voice as well. If you don't have a 3G or 4G iPad, you don't have a data plan at all. Is your iPad a 3G or 4G iPad or WiFi only?

     

    If its Wifi only, the only reason that you would need a data plan is if you have a mobile hotspot like a MIFI device. AT&T data plan on the iPad would have nothing at all to do with having AT&T service for your home.
