macbook pro June2012 overheating?

Hello all!

I'm very new to apple products, especially the macbook pro i just purchased YESTERDAY.

I bought the macbook pro 13 inch with 2.9ghz.

I notice it getting really hot, especially when i was setting the computer up.

and today i was just browsing the web & the computer felt hot, I downloaded istat to check the temperature...and i looked at the temperature.. I'm really not sure if thats normal, can someone help me? 😮

should i just bring it back ..? since i just..purchased...it .

Computer will get warm when spotlight is indexing.

But you can take the MBP to the Apple store and have it checked.

Better still, get an exchange.

I purchased it at Best Buy, can I bring it there to be checked out&exchanged? =o Or i can also do this in apple (get it checked out& exchanged)

Also when i exchange it in for a new one, are they giving me a brand new one or refurbished one? And what if the new one they gave me have the same problem OR some other problem,,would I be able to exchange it...again? lol

If you're within your thirty days and you want it exchanged, don't bother with the Apple store. Bring it to Best Buy. If you want it diagnosed, go to the Apple store. But if you're going with an exchange, just leave the Apple store and head on over to Best Buy.
