How do I set up Mission Control. I miss spaces

I need instructions for a computer illiterate person to set up Mission Control. I miss my spaces.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

While in Mission Control, press the option key. You will see options for adding or removing spaces.

In Mission Control the other "Spaces" will appear at the top of the screen.


To create new ones move your cursor to the top right corner of the screen (or hold down the option key - as noted by @Therabyte) and click the 1/2 exposed desktop.


Lock apps to a specific "Space" (when out of Mission Control) click on the app icon in the dock and look under "Options".


It's not as functional as Snow Leopard, but Apple seems to be learning from the downgrade to Lion.
