Icloud password

When you setup your iCloud account did you not use your AppleID account? That should have made the two the same...if you set the iCloud password to be something else, no one can tell you what that password is, you have to be able to remember it.

did you get this sorted....im stuck aswell

why icloud never sens to email our icloud details upon signing up? this will make us have a written details to remember.

Don't sign up for it unless you expect to change your password again and then you'll have to have a new ID for all other services. It doesn't help recover your password or reset your password, it changes it! This I find inappropriate!

I seem to be having the same problem except the Tech is telling me that my iCloud password is reset when I reset my Apple ID password. Now they want to charge me to fix my iCloud password problem.

Why can't I get rid of iCloud all together? I have absolutely no desire to use iCloud but don't want to loose all my contacts and data they want to delete.
