Mountain Lion doesn't start, goes into terminal screen

Do this and that doesn't give anyone enough information. What have you done to resolve this situation.

If for some reason your system's PRAM is set to load the system in single-user mode then you will see this behavior happen at each boot. You can try resetting your PRAM by restarting with the Option-Command-P-R keys (release them after the first automatic reset) or runnign the following command to clear any potential boot arguments:

sudo nvram -d boot-args
