I have version numbers 2.1 and the Mountain Lion
In the AppStore is updated 2.2 numbers, but when I try to update the system tells me that I need to go under a different account zapismyu under which it was made pokupka.Pri if you go to the tab Shopping - there are numbers.

You're using a copy of Numbers that was purchased under a different Apple ID. You have two choices: (1) delete it and purchase it under your own Apple ID, if you haven't already done so; or (2) log in to the App Store under the other Apple ID and upgrade.

And I try with another account. And have same problem.
I got the problem after upgrade snow to mountain...
Is Numbers listed among your purchases in the App Store?
If it is, delete the application and install it again.

i apologizing for barging in.
i have no record of installing numbers on my imac 10.7.5 and is not
under my purchases in the app store.
it says that my mac is not up to date for the numbers app. offered online.
it requires mavericks 10.9 ?
i do not understand how to dowload that. it states that it is not compatible.

I have the same problem, I have an iPad now that's come with a new job, has numbers on it... Can't update it cause of another person's Apple ID. If I delete it and unit with my own id, do I lose all my documents that are in it currently???
