Could you walk us through what happens when you try to connect to the Store, please?
Nothing happens at all. No error messsage- either. I tried connecting to find album artwork and it locks up while trying to connect and then nothing.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

The above was my conflict, as noted in support text, conflict came from a cellular program (my ATT Communication Manager software).
