How to type Euro symbol?

I'm using a Swedish keyboard and can't get the Euro symbol to show. The programs I'm using are Safari and Firefox.
I've tried Shift alt2, Shift option2 and every other key combo. What's the key combination? Using Character Palette works but is far from the optimal solution.

I don't know where it is on a Swedish keyboard.

You can turn on the Keyboard viewer instead of the character palette. Go System preferences, International, input and turn it on.

Then you can bring up a keyboard window which will show what is on each key. If it is too small, click the green button to enlarge it.

Rothrock, thank you! Problem solved. I chose both Character Palette and Keyboard Viewer, but only Character Palette showed up in the menu. I deselected Character Palette and now I see Keyboard Viewer and I found the key! It's SHIFT+4
