How to enable Disk Sharing outside local network

Hi

I want to access my disk attached to my AirPort Extreme when I'm outside.

I think some kind of port-forwarding would do, But I don't know how to do it properly.

Did anyone tried on this issue?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4), (Late 2006)

Airport Extreme is basically the same as Time Capsule.. You should be able to access it using icloud and btmm.. give it a try.

Apple do not provide any other way to access remotely.

Without using a fixed public IP or dyndns.. you will have issues as you have no way to reach the IP outside your system when it rotates.. that means you need a non-apple router which provides dyndns.
