Aperture 3.3.2 - Color adjustment, color picker doesn't work

I updated Aperture and then I updated to OS 10.8 / Mountain Lion this week. Now the color adjustments aren't working properly anymore. When I choose the color picker and click on a blue spot in a photo for example, it just gives me red. No matter where I click, always red. Unfortunately it really chooses red, because when I apply changes to this chosen color it changes the reds, not the color I pointed the cursor at.

I've tried two separate libraries to see if it was a constant error or some kind of database problem, both have this problem.

Really unfortunate as I use this option frequently in my interior photography work, to get rid of color casts from different light sources. Makes doing my job so much more time consuming and difficult. Again. Please, fix this.

If anyone has any brilliant ideas, I'm all ears!

Many UI problems are resolved by deleting the prefs file. Have you tried this?
