If I have made edits, how do I get my raw file off of the iPad?

This article explains how to get the RAW version of unedited photos off of the iPad, but how to I get the RAW version of edited photos? This makes iPhoto and a workflow that includes iPad seem a little silly if I can't get the RAW version out of the iPad....
