Q: Notes App note being backed up by Time Machine.

I'm having issues with the new Notes application in Mountain Lion not being backed up by Time Machine. If it is being backed up then the new OS is keeping me from accessing the time stamps or backups. Normally I could just open up an application and enter into the time machine to find the stored local time stamps but the Notes screen minimizes and the finder window opens automatically keeping me from accessing stored backup of the new Notes app. Is anyone having this same issue?

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is a couple of years old, less people are likely to look at it. You can link to this one.   In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes directory. Copy them to that location.

I copied them there, but my notes still don't open. These are the files in my external hard drive - the Notes app opens when I click on the file, but nothing shows up.

I did everything that was mentioned in this discussion as well: Re: Notes App note being backed up by Time Machine.

But, I still can't seem to get them opened at all.
