Since me.com has gone away, my iWeb picture widgets have disappeared off of my website. What do I do to add the pictures back to my website?

If you used MobileMe galleries, the image files have been deleted.

You need to search this forum, or the MobileMe one, for alternatives or wait for the photo fiends to jump in give some suggestions.

I just tried GalleryView. It must be about the easiest way to create a jQuery gallery "out of the box"...

The HTML is just an unordered list and the thumbs are auto generated so its just a question of uploading a folder of images and the two folders - CSS & JS - to the server and referencing them in the HTML doc.

I've been looking around for simple replacements for iWeb features that don't work anymore or are compromised by MobileMe closing.

Now that a lot of iWeb users are being forced to learn about FTP, perhaps thay will become more comfortable with uploading assets to the server to take advantage of some of the features that are available to them by using HTML Snippets.

GalleryView is probably about the easiest jQuery slider I have tried - and I've tested quite a few! Entering all the code into the snippet makes it easier to change out or add images to rather than uploading an html file and referencing it in an iframe.

Last night I took a look at the jQuery options for Google maps since there seems to be a fair amount of interest now that the widget is defunct. The one I chose is really easy and all the mods are fairly obvious in the javascript. The demo folder has lots of examples...
