iPhone 4s gets hot when using it

Hi all,

O2-UK recently replaced my iPhone 4s for me - I am noticing that when I use it, games, internet etc, the back and side where the sim car is located get's quite hot.

I don't remember my old iPhone 4s doing this.

What should I do? Is it a problem? Do I need a new one?

Thanks

B

The iPhone's enclosure is actually designed to draw out heat from the internal components; in order to keep the internal parts of your phone cool. It will get pretty warm, but should not burn you, or be too hot to hold or use.

See article below for more information about acceptable operating temperatures for your iPhone 4S.
