Boot into your Recovery partition (hold down the Command and R keys on boot) and under the Utilities menu, select Terminal. While in Terminal type

resetpassword

An app will start that will allow you to reset the password for any account on your MBP. Select the admin account that you use for your Home directory and just follow the instructions - and be sure to set a tip for remembering your password.

Reboot and use your new password. This will allow you to confirm that you want to install whatever.

bootup holding down command R, you will be going into mac os x utilities (recovery partition) on the menu bar at the top, select "utilities" go down to terminal Type "resetpassword" no spaces and no quotes then hit return. A grey box will pop up behind it, select mac hd from the top, then your user accout. then type your new password in and hit save. then restart your computer
