Uploading video to youtube issue!

I have a video filmed on my camera that I have imported onto Aperture. I am trying to put this on youtube however youtube is failing to do this and is sending me a mesage saying, 'unable to upload'. they are telling me it is due to the fact that they cant convert the file. I have uploaded videos many times from my camera onto Youtube with no issues. how do I upload my Films?
