Error code 1434 ipod classic. unable to restore or do anything with the device.

I have an ipod classic, only a few months old, today i connect as usual to update my tunes..itunes said that the ipod was in recovery mode and that i needed to restore it to continue, never had any of this in the past. After trying to restore it, error code came up 1434..i am unable to find anything on it and i cant do a thing with the ipod. Any help appreciated.
