I've a problem with Nikon D800 raw files "unsupported image format".
I've just upgrade to mountain lion with no success.
also aperture seems the last version
only Nikon software seems to work

The Adobe RAW format will support Nikon D800's NEF format. Have you tried Photoshop? I don't know about Apple's RAW support - I don't use Aperture. But according to this page - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4757 - your camera and format are supported by Apple as well.

Should be - it's listed on the Apple Support page. Also under the supported cameras for Aperture 3 - http://www.apple.com/aperture/specs/raw.html.
What's the current version of Aperture? I might buy it one day just to play with it but PS works just fine for me right now.

Was going to ask if the Mac had all software updates applied. Then I noticed a little Mountain Lion label. Oops. Given that this new kitty is giving us quite a lot of fits, woudn't be surprised if the corresponding libraries aren't ready yet. Back on the older cat, Lion, do recall a somewhat recent update for several cameras.
yesterday I had Lion full update but D800 nef's are no recognized
then I've upgrade to mountain lion with no effects

yes I am working with D800 - MACBookPro - Mountain Lion and Aperture 3.3.2 and it works perfectly
Only thing I detected till now, the AF finetuning information of the Camera is not transfered

bit>>>> 14
The only information, which is not transmitted is the adjustment level of the AF-finetuning

may i ask, how is aperture running while processing the large raw files from the D800? i also have a MBP and hesitant to go for a D800 due to worry over file size and processing.

I am quit okay with the performance
It´s not the fatest reaction due to the fact I am working with a MACBookPro older version and 8 GByte RAM
I am in a start phase with APERTURE too. Till now I have worked only with the NIKON software, but this is very very lausy for archiving performance
D800 I like very much. It´s fast, I can adjust to all challenges, It delivers great performance and it has a flash on board also well adjustable. Performance of battery is not the very best, if you run longterm photosessions. Last but not least is a very good app for the iPhone to use is via labtop as remote screen and remote control for the camera.
