Swipe to next image gesture 'hit and miss'

Since the upgrade to Aperture 3.3.2, I've noticed that the two finger swipe gesture (advange to next/prev image) seems a bit 'sticky'. It works OK for a while then will take multiple attempts to get it to work.

The same gesture works perfectly smoothly in iPhoto and another apps that support it. It's just Aperture that seems to have issues with it.

Has anyone else noticed this?
